My name is Tiffany. I am the mother of two wonderful little girls, Little Miss D (7) and Little Miss M (2). I have been happily married to Mr. C for over eight years. I am endlessly curious and I love to create and repurpose things. I hope to share my messy crazy life and creative endeavors, as well as a few precautionary tales with you.
My passion for crafting truly came out of necessity. When Mr. C and I were young newlyweds he was in the Military and I was a full-time student. As you can imagine our budget was tight! Our first place was a tiny one bedroom apartment, and neither of us owned a single thing to furnish it! I lived with 7, Yes SEVEN, roommates near university and he lived in the barracks on post. We choose not to have a big wedding, in order to purchase furniture, and essentials. Decor was not in the budget!
And so my crafting and upcycling furniture and found items began. I have always been a bit of an eco-freak (before the term "green" even existed) and this only fueled my fire. The thought of saving something from the landfill and giving it new life truly makes me happy.
A little over a year later we welcomed Little Miss D to the family, still in our tiny one bedroom apartment! I desperately wanted her to have a cute nursery with all the adorable decor, but it's expensive! And they grow out of it so fast, making it seem not only like a waste of money, but huge contribution to our landfill loving society. So I opted for secondhand furniture from family, and decor I made myself.
Over the years birthday parties, holidays, and a growing family have led to many more creations! Little Miss M joined us 2 years ago when our family was in a huge transition, I was graduating from the University of Texas and we moved across the country, so our budget fueled crafting and upcycling continues!
I welcome you to join me in my journey of creativity and discovery! If you have any questions, please comment or message me I will be happy to respond!
